With defending champion Iraq out, Australia, Japan, South Korea and Uzbekistan slug it out for the Asian Cup crown. The semifinal match-ups pit Australia against Uzbekistan and Japan going up South Korea.
It is unfortunate that Japan and South Korea will face each other in the semifinals. I believe these two teams deserve to be in the finals. Uzbekistan is proving to be the the biggest surprise of the tournament as it battles 20th world ranked Australia.
I believe Japan will win over South Korea while Australia will have an easier time with Uzbekistan. In the finals. I want to see Japan win over Australia. Japan has been so impressive in its games and truly deserves to win the Asian Cup.
