PROTESTS IN EGYPT SHOW THE BEST AMONG EGYPTIANS

Thirteen days of protests and Mubarak is still in office. But while the protests have not produced the desired result, the rallies and demonstrations in Egypt show several good things about the Egyptian people.
First, these demonstrations clearly show how committed, focused and determined the Egyptian people are in their goal to achieve democracy for their country. Second, the rallies manage to show the humanitarian side of the Egyptian people. People willingly share their food with others. Bread is shared by common people even with complete strangers who are in the rallies. People attend to the injured in their makeshift clinics. Third, religious differences have been set aside by Egyptians to achieve a common goal. Both Christians and Muslims have come together to bring down Mubarak and all the things that he stands for.
Indeed, Egyptians are showing the whole world how compassionate, exemplary and determined they truly are.
