PASA AND ASAP : QUESTIONS THAT DEMAND TRUTHFUL ANSWERS

The conflict between the Philippine Aquatic Sports Association ( PASA ) and Aquatic Sports Association of the Philippines ( ASAP ) intensifies as the two groups hurl serious charges against each other. I personally find it hard to determine which group deserves sympathy and support as the two swimming associations seem to air valid grievances. But despite the public statements made by both camps, several crucial questions remain unanswered.

For ASAP :

1. Why did it take ASAP three years to expose the alleged corrupt ways of the president of PASA ?

2. Why did ASAP embark on a media blitz to condemn the PASA president for his " dictatorial " ways after its attempt to break a Guinness world record failed miserably ?

3. Why does ASAP encourage non - membership to PASA when it means that its swimmers will not be able to participate in local and international swimming competitions ?

4. What does ASAP have to show in its years of existence ?

For PASA :

1. How and why did the president of PASA get more than 20M pesos directly from Pagcor without the knowledge of the Philippine Sports Commission ?

2. How true are the reports that The PASA president threatens PASA members of suspension if they should interact with ASAP members ?

3. How true are the reports that the president of PASA does not have an executive board and runs the whole show all by himself ?

4. Why does PASA forego with COA audits ?

5. What does PASA have to show in its years of existence ?

I wonder which group has the guts and tenacity to answer the questions above.
