While watching Glee, I saw the new T.V. commercial of Sunlife Insurance. Piolo Pascual now replaces James Yap as the new image model of the world's biggest insurance company.
Sunlife was smart enough to drop James Yap from its commercial after what the popular basketball player did to his equally popular celebrity wife. After all, James Yap revealed himself to be an insurance risk. Kris Aquino's lifetime savings and investments were nearly wiped out because of James Yap. Not even an insurance company could prevent Kris Aquino from losing over 90M pesos as James Yap shamelessly ran after her investments.
Switching channels to the PBA, I saw James Yap still wearing a protective mask which just about covers his entire face. I find it funny that James Yap is hiding his face behind a mask. Perhaps, James somehow feels ashamed for revealing himself to be a greedy and opportunistic husband. I can truly understand why James needs the mask to hide his face for the people now know him for who and what he truly is.
You should research more before writing in your blog.
ReplyDeletePiolo Pascual was an additional endorses for sun life and it does not mean that he replaced James Yap. Truth of the matter is, a new billboard of James Yap is standing along Libis. It replaced the billboard with Baby James.
The mask is doctor prescribed. due to the physical game of basketball he has to wear it to protect his operated nose. Hindi ka ba nagtataka na when he is out of the playing court he does not wear it? Primarily because he only needs it to protect it from being bumped.

as far as his polypectomy is concerned, gaano na ba katagal since he underwent polypectomy ? ganun ba talaga katagal gumaling ang isang outpatient operation na tulad ng polypectomy ? may stiches ba on his face and nose ? bakit hindi siya nagpagamot nung pagkatapos mismo ng last conference ng pba para hindi na niya kailangang magsuot ng maskara ngayon ?

dear EFD, James Yap was not replaced by Piolo Pascual. Just today (October 18, 2010-Philippine Daily Inquirer Sports Page A19) I saw a print ad of James Yap along with other endorsers of Sunlife( Piolo and Pia Magalona). The tagline even says "For my game, I listen to my coach. For my retirement plan, I listen to my Sunlife advisor".Haaay, this piece about James is basedless. By the way, you are comparing Mr Yap's popularity to that of Mark Caguioa's , again this is nonsense.Just stating the obvious, no match here, no brainer, no doubt.James Yap is more popular, in general, by a mile!

as i said before to another reader, please inform me if you get to see james yap on sunlife's t.v. commercial. as far as i know, his contract which he entered together with baby james has not expired. hence, he continues to be an endorser. but as far as t.v. commercials go, i think he has been dropped.

ReplyDeleteIn context to this blog post and sa contents of the entry you were saying he was dropped as an endorser right? when everybody was justifying it to be false because of new ads seen around the metro and write-ups about it. We completely change the argument as yung TV commercial lang?
