DRAMA U.P. STYLE

By the time this blog is posted, U.P. administration has come up with the decision as to who to install as the new head coach of the U.P. men's basketball team. The drama all started when Coach Aboy suddenly went on indefinite leave. The administration is now torn between what is legal and what is best. Legally, it is one of the assistant coaches who must assume the position of head coach. But what is best is for the team's consultant, Coach Boyet, to be appointed head coach.
The U.P. administration must simply think of what is best for the players. Coach Boyet has produced an MVP, two Rookies of the Year and mythical team players in the PBA. In fact, a few of his players are strong contenders for the Most Improved Player award this season. He can certainly teach a lot of things to U.P's young players that can help them improve their game. More than notching victories for U.P., Coach Boyet offers these young players the opportunity to learn and improve. The knowledge and skill that the players will acquire from Coach Boyet can even help them launch their professional basketball careers.
It is time for U.P. to stop its drama. It is time for the university to get the best person to do the job. After all, U.P. is known for having the best people in its fold. Hopefully, its basketball team too gets to have the best coach in its fold as well.
