IS LVPI SELF-DESTRUCTING ?

courtesy of en.wikipedia.org

Without a national team since its inception, Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas Inc. (LVPI) is now being regarded as a useless national federation for volleyball. After all , the formation of national teams is the primary objective of a national federation. Now, people are realizing that LVPI is far worse than Philippine Volleyball Federation (PVF) which it unceremoniously replaced.

But the problems of LVPI seem to increase in number as one of its officers recently by-passed the federation and went directly to FIVB to gain recognition for his league. Dissension seems to have penetrated the ranks of LVPI to put the federation in a delicate and volatile situation.

Lastly, Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) seems to have decided to distance itself from LVPI's Asian Women's Club Championship which is being held in Binan, Laguna. Conspicuously missing are the banners and tarpaulins of PSC at the venue of the tournament.

With all these, one can't help but think that there is something terribly wrong within LVPI. Could it just be a matter of time now before the public finally discovers what is truly happening with LVPI ?
