1. Kailan ka nagsimulang maglaro ng tennis ?
Nag-start po ako 11 years old, Grade 6.

Kinakaya na lang po namin ang gastos through our sponsors like our school and private individuals.

6. What are your chances of becoming champion in the tournament and the Philippine representative to the Summer Universiade in Taiwan ?

7. Ilan ba ang ipapadala sa Universiade ?
Sa pagkakaalam ko po, yung champion at first runner-up ang ipapadala sa Universiade.

Yung pagiging hardworking, cooperative and team player. Through tennis, natuto po akong makipagkapwa-tao..

Nanggaling po ako sa ganung sitwasyon kaya I share to them whatever knowledge I have.

ISA MOLDE AND COMPANY FACE TRUE TEST

courtesy of UPWVVT

UP Women's Volleyball Varsity Team must win over UST this Sunday at all cost.

UP needs to win to better its chances of entering the Final Four in UAAP Women's Volleyball Season 78. UP gains outright entry with a victory and a defeat of NU to La Salle.

When asked what the fans can expect from UP this Sunday, Coach Jerry Yee said that the girls are basically in new territory. None of his senior players have experienced being in the situation. Most of his players are rookies. The weight of the community's expectations are bearing down on the girls. So he just told his players to play their game, For the UP coach, the result of the game is not what is most important. As long as the effort is there, he will be happy.

UPWVVT has so far taken its fans to a rollercoaster ride. The ride, however bumpy and unpredictable, remains exhilirating. For years, UP has been at the bottom of team standings in almost every UAAP season. But in Season 78, UP has shown semblance of occasional brilliance and excellent teamwork in a few of its games. Thus, UP fans are hopeful for a Final Four stint for the team.

In all honesty, I expect UP to show its best against UST. I expect UP to play as if there's no tomorrow. The game against UST will show everyone just what stuff UP scholars are truly made of.

So, where can we get tickets to the game ?

PHILIPPINE VOLLEYBALL : A CALL TO ACTION

courtesy of pickywallpapers.com

It is now over a year since FIVB issued a letter of recognition to Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas Incorporated (LVPI). But FIVB, to this day, has yet to issue a statement on why it revoked the recognition of Philippine Volleyball Federation (PVF). For FIVB to cancel the recognition of PVF, the world-governing body must have a valid and all-important reason to do so.  And the Filipino volleyball community certainly deserves to know the reason, at the very least.

But FIVB chooses to sweep the controversy under the rug. Truth of the matter is, FIVB merely listened and relied on the mad rantings of Philippine Olympic Committee and Filipino FIVB official Tats Suzara to arrive at its decision.

Thus to settle the issue once and for all and for closure to be obtained, I encourage all those who truly care and love Philippine volleyball to write to the FIVB BA members to ask why FIVB disenfranchised PVF. Below are the email addresses of the FIVB BA members. Simply copy and paste the addresses to your email and use FIVB BA Members as salutation.

Collectively, we have a voice that can and will resonate. Together, we can make FIVB stand up and notice our legitimate demand. That we, as a people, ask for an answers. That Filipinos cannot and will not be ignored.

Let us make FIVB respond. Hopefully, FIVB will give an acceptable and intelligent response for all concerned and a closure on the controversy will finally be achieved.

OPEN LETTER TO FIVB COMMITTEES

courtesy of teamusa.org

Dear FIVB,

I am in complete disbelief and shock that more than a year after, FIVB has not acted on the Philippine Volleyball Federation (PVF) case. Despite the numerous letters that I have sent to FIVB and its Board of Administration, the world-governing body for volleyball chooses to ignore the injustice that was done and perpetrated by FIVB to PVF.

For your information, FIVB's decision to disenfranchise PVF, without due process and a valid reason, and recognize Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas Inc. (LVPI) has created irreparable damage to Philippine volleyball. The Philippines does not have a national team for volleyball at this very moment.

I am still hoping that FIVB will come to its senses and investigate what really happened to PVF.
