17TH ASIAN WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIPS 2013 : SEA ZONALS PART 2

It is a case of history repeating itself. Once again, the possibility of a sanction becomes real for the country in the Asian Championships in Thailand this September. Obviously, the same personalities have again confirmed the country’s participation in yet another international tournament. Will POC once again step in as the country faces another possible sanction ? Will PVF assert its authority in solving the mess that certain individuals outside PVF have created ? Or will PVF allow the imposition of the sanction to reveal once and for all the personalities responsible for putting the country in yet another embarrassing situation ?

Perhaps, it is time to hold certain personalities accountable. These personalities have shamelessly placed the country in international embarrassment with their unwarranted maneuverings twice in a row now. Saying that what they are doing is for national interest simply does not cut it anymore. People know the truth now about the mess that keeps going from one tournament to another. It is time for people to face the consequences of their actions. People, it seems, don’t learn from their mistakes especially when they know that there are people out to cover their tracks. The deception and cover-up must end now for the sake of the players, coaches, fans and country as a whole.
